Most habit apps give you a checkmark. From Iron gives you a rank.

Answer nine questions and get placed — Iron, Bronze, Steel, Gold and up. Not everyone starts at the bottom. Then hold it: bank your board and you climb, miss days and decay takes it back.

The Gold tier emblem — a forged great helm in gold

Ten tiers · four divisions each

The same helm, forged further

Every tier is the same object taken further down the forge. Hover any helm to stop the wheel and inspect it — the whole page takes that tier's colour, the way the app does.

The Iron tier emblem
Iron 0 – 400 RP Everybody starts here.
The Bronze tier emblem
Bronze 400 – 800 RP A clean week gets you out of Iron.
The Steel tier emblem
Steel 800 – 1,200 RP Decay starts biting.
The Gold tier emblem
Gold 1,200 – 1,600 RP One to two weeks of consistency.
The Mithril tier emblem
Mithril 1,600 – 2,000 RP Gains are damped. Misses hurt more.
The Adamant tier emblem
Adamant 2,000 – 2,400 RP Most people stop before here.
The Crystal tier emblem
Crystal 2,400 – 2,800 RP The ceiling for unverified players.
The Astral tier emblem
Astral 2,800 – 3,200 RP Months, not weeks.
The Crucible tier emblem
Crucible 3,200 – 3,600 RP A season of not missing.
The Obsidian tier emblem
Obsidian 3,600 RP + What the forge leaves behind.

The app wears your rank: every ring, bar and ember takes the colour of the tier you are currently holding.

Who's on top right now

The real global ladder, straight from the app. Ranked players only.

  1. Loading the ladder…

The loop

Four rules, and they all bite

You get placed, not dumped

Nine questions about what you already do. Placement puts you where you actually sit. Nobody is placed into Steel or above — everything past that is climbed.

Bank the day

Clear the habits scheduled for today and you gain RP. Partial days count proportionally, because an all-or-nothing streak is why you quit the last app. Rest days cost nothing — a three-day split is not punished four days a week.

Decay takes it back

In the ranked queue, missed days cost RP, and the rate climbs with your tier. Iron is decay-proof. Casual queue turns it off entirely and still tracks everything.

Promos decide the tier

Reach the top division and you play a promo series — three clean days out of five to break through. Fail it and you keep your RP, you just run it back.

Inside

More app than the tab bar admits

A real lifting tracker

28 ranked exercises, set-by-set logging, an estimated 1RM from every set, and a body map in forged plate showing which muscles you have actually loaded this week. Sets are written the moment you tick them, so a crash never costs you a workout.

Conditioning from your watch

Runs, rides, rows and swims read straight from Apple Health. From Iron does not record your runs — your watch already does. Weekly distance, moving time, best pace.

Fuel without a food diary

Calories and macros read from Apple Health. From Iron is not a food diary and never will be. Log wherever you already do, and hitting your protein counts toward Body.

Seasons that keep the crest

Pre-season rank carries into Season 1. At season end you soft-reset one tier and keep the crest in your case forever. Peak rank is permanent — the grind is not.

On your data

Short section, and that is the point

Your Apple Health data never leaves your phone

From Iron reads macros and cardio sessions on your device to show them to you and count them toward your rank. That data is never uploaded to our servers, never shared, and never written back to Apple Health — access is read-only.
